A man allegedly held a woman he met on dating app Badoo captive for four days and repeatedly beat, raped and threatened to kill her with a crossbow.
Robert Wilson, 32, is accused of bashing the 39-year-old Vietnamese woman so badly that she couldn't see out of either eye at his home in Darley, Victoria last week.
He also held a crossbow to her head shouting 'do you want to die,' beat her with a metal pole and handcuffed her, police allege.
Wilson allegedly threatened to turn her into a 'money making machine' by pimping her out and forced her to bank transfer him $3,000 - before finally releasing her when her friends began messaging him on Facebook.

Wilson was at his home on Tuesday and was charged with seven offences, including three counts of rape and one count of false imprisonment.
He did not apply for bail or appear in the dock when his case was mentioned in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday night.
Wilson was remanded in custody to reappear in court on Friday.
The victim's police statement described how Mr Wilson's controlling behaviour forced the woman to change her Facebook relationship status and asked her to move in to his home around March 15, The Age reported.
It's alleged Wilson picked her up from a suburban business about on March 25, and drove her back to his home, where he punched her in the face and head before raping her.
Police alleged the woman was threatened with weapons, including a crossbow and repeatedly sexually and physically assaulted over the four-day period.

It's also alleged she was strangled and repeatedly asked 'do you want to die?' when she wouldn't give him her bank login details.
Police alleged Wilson transferred the thousands into his account after the victim gave him her bank account details because she feared for her life.
By the third day, police allege the woman's friends contacted the man, asking for information on her whereabouts, prompting him to release her the following day.
She went to a friend's house and reported the matter to police before she was later taken to hospital.
She remains in hospital with serious head and body injuries.
In his statement to police, Mr Wilson claimed the woman agreed to lend him money, they had consensual sex once a day during the four-day period and had agreed to work on their relationship.
