LONDON - Theresa May will ask the European Union for Brexit to be delayed again.

The prime minister announced on Tuesday evening that she will seek for Brexit to be postponed until the House of Commons agrees on a deal to leave the EU.

She also said that she will hold talks with Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn in order to reach a compromise deal which both the Conservatives and Labour can support.

The prime minister spoke from inside 10 Downing Street after a marathon meeting with Cabinet ministers on Tuesday which lasted over seven hours.
