A semi-professional soccer player has been killed in a targeted shooting.
John Odisho, 25, and another man were shot in a unit in Five Dock, inner-west Sydney in the early hours of Tuesday.
He was rushed to hospital and put on life support which his family later turned off on the advice of doctors.
Mr Odisho played for NSW league two club Parramatta FC.
The club president announced the news on Facebook, saying: 'I offer our heartfelt condolences to John's family.'

Police rushed to a unit in Five Dock at 3.45am on Tuesday.
Officers found a man with a head wound in critical condition and a man with an arm wound in stable condition.
They were both taken to hospital by paramedics.
Police believe the attack was targeted and probably gang-related.
Officers are hunting two men seen running from the apartment block.
