Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle have announced the launch of their official Instagram account… It's called @sussexroyal, and the couple's first post reads: "Welcome to our official Instagram; we look forward to sharing the work that drives us, the causes we support, important announcements, and the opportunity to shine a light on key issues.." More than 500, 000 followers signed up on the first day to read the couple's news and view pictures of the pair on their travels.

But with a baby on the way and due later in Spring, that number is likely to skyrocket.

The couple previously shared photos on the account run by Kensington Palace which included photos of Harry's elder brother Prince William and his family… But now Harry and Meghan are building a household of their own.

They're also planning to move from London to Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor Estate outside the city, and hire a new communications staff... Fans now able to follow every developent on Instagram.
