This is the astonishing moment two parents were caught on video helping their daughter walk along the ledge of their apartment’s balcony.
A resident in Buenos Aires, Argentina, last week captured the shocking footage of the toddler being led by her father while the mother recorded each step of the way.
The child stumbled after each step taken while the man carefully grabbed her with both hands outside their seventh floor residence in the neighborhood of El Caballito.

The mother gleefully took another photo of the young girl, who continued her off balanced stroll towards the other end of the balcony’s ledge.
For a quick second, both parents looked up, perhaps receiving the ire of their worried neighbors.
The girl continued to walk as her mother raced ahead and captured the moment her daughter leaned into her dad for what appeared to be a kiss.
Police became aware of the video, which was shot last week by a neighborhood in Buenos Aires, and visited the home to see why the young girl was allowed to walk on the ledge

According Argentine newspaper La Nación, cops visited the home after learning of the video and found that the parents indeed did secure the balcony by placing a protective screen.
But due to the cell phone video’s vantage point, it’s difficult to tell whether there was anything placed by the ledge.
Although the parents weren't charged with any crime by the local police department in the Argentine province, the incident has been referred to a government agency that ensures the welfare of minors and families.
