: IT enabled service partner and mutual fund transfer agency Computer Age Management Services (CAMS) Tuesday said it has crossed 2.5 million registered users using the company's mutual fund platform myCAMS.
The percentage of investors signing up from cities beyond the top 30 locations has been on an increase, making a strong demand from smaller towns, the city-based company said in a statement.
"At CAMS, we are committed to delivering convenience and user friendly services by leveraging technology and digitization", company President and Chief Executive Officer Anuj Kumar said.
"We are happy to see myCAMS grow in strength and become the preferred choice of over 2.5 million mutual fund investors.It is interesting to note that the first million registrations took about three years while next million plus investors registered in half that time", he said.
Over 7.5 million folios of these 2.5 million investors were serviced by myCAMS.
The company said the myCAMS has added five lakh registered investors within a short span of six months.
