As the United States celebrates equal pay day, a new study finds that there are a few occupations that still lag behind in gender wage equality.
????According to a 2019 study from job & recruitment site Glassdoor, Pilots top the list of careers still dealing with unequal pay.
????Male pilots are making an average of 26.6% more than their women counterparts.
????Continuing right behind them are male chefs who make about 24.6% more.????Third on the list are male C-suite professionals who earn 24% more than women.
??
??The study notes that Although the gap has been shrinking in the past three years, the U.S. gender pay gap is reportedly decades away from reaching equality.
????The U.S. Census reports that in 2017, the average full time working woman made 80.5% of what an average man earned.
