Temperatures are expected to decrease slightly on Tuesday while heavy rain has been predicted for parts of central SA.

The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly to easterly but strong between Cape Point and Cape Agulhas, spreading to the south coast from the afternoon. The Eastern Cape is expected to be cloudy, with isolated shower and rain south of the escarpment. Otherwise, it will be fine and cool. The wind along the coast will be fresh south-westerly, becoming moderate to fresh easterly in the afternoon, but north-easterly in the evening.

It will be cloudy with morning fog over the interior of KwaZulu-Natal. Otherwise, it will be cool but cold in the west. Scattered showers and thundershowers are expected. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly, becoming moderate easterly to north-easterly from the south in the evening. The expected UVB sunburn index is low.
