PM Modi's rallies: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address rallies in Gaya, Bihar, and Bhawanipatna, Odisha, on Tuesday. The elections for the Gaya Lok Sabha constituency will be held in the first phase on April 11.

Congress manifestos: The Congress is likely to release its manifesto on Tuesday. It is likely to focus on agriculture, economy, education, health and jobs. Congress President Rahul Gandhi has said that the party’s manifesto was prepared after extensive nationwide consultations with key stakeholders.

Electoral bonds: The Supreme Court will hear a case relating to electoral bonds on Tuesday. Electoral bonds were introduced to bring about transparency in political funding. The EC had said that anonymous donations had impacted the transparency of political funding.

Foot overbridge collapse: The Bombay High Court will hear a Public Interest Litigation filed by a social activist seeking a judicial inquiry into the recent foot overbridge collapse outside the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai. Six people died in the collapse and several were injured.

EC bench in Tamil Nadu: A full bench of the Election Commission will visit Tamil Nadu on April 2 and 3 to review the ongoing arrangements for the Lok Sabha elections. Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora, Election Commissioners Ashok Lavasa and Sushil Chandra, will meet the representatives of political parties to know their views.
