An Atlanta teen was shot and killed after he knocked on the wrong door.????Atlanta’s WSB-TV reports that 19-year old Omarian Banks was killed early Friday morning…????...after knocking on the door of the apartment Banks thought he and his girlfriend had just moved in to.????Atlanta police say that Banks was using FaceTime to talk to his girlfriend on his way to their apartment and she was worried when she didn’t hear a knock on her door.????It turns out that Banks was at the apartment of Darryl Bines, who grabbed a handgun before confronting Banks on his balcony.????Banks’ girlfriend Zsakeria Mathis told WSB-TV that at this point she went onto the porch of her apartment and could hear a conversation in the distance followed by gunshots.????CNN reports the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office said Banks died at the scene following a gunshot wound to his neck.????According to WSB-TV, Darryl Bines at first told police he was acting in self-defense…????However, the Atlanta authorities believe that Bines shot the teen from his balcony as he was trying to escape down the stairs.????Bines has been arrested and charged with murder.
