Tirupur cotton spinning mill worker dies

TIRUPUR: A 19-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh died on Saturday after he suffered injuries while trying to repair a machine in a private cotton spinning mill here.
The deceased has been identified as Sam Alam, son of Jameel Ahmed, of Nagpur in Mau district in Uttar Pradesh.
He had been working in the mill for many months. On Friday, a machine he was working on had a snag. He tried to repair it and suffered injuries. The man was rushed to Tirupur Government Hospital where he died on Saturday.
The Veerapandi police registered a case.
