PM to address rally in VV Nagar
tnn | Apr 2, 2019, 04:53 ISTVadodara: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a public meeting in Vallabh Vidyanagar on April 10. This will be his first election rally announced by the party in central Gujarat.
While the exact details of the PM’s programme are not known yet, sources said that the public meeting was being planned at Shastri Maidan in the education town that falls under the Anand Lok Sabha seat. This will be followed by a visit by Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath.
The party has fielded a new face Mitesh Patel aka Bakabhai against former union minister and former state Congress president Bharatsinh Solanki on the Anand seat. Sitting MP Dilip Patel was dropped by the party.
Yogi will address two public meetings in in Petlad and Khambhat towns on April 14.
Anand district BJP president Mahesh Patel said that while they had been told about the date, the timing of the rally and a detailed programme of the PM was still awaited.
