Air India will operate direct flights between Delhi and Kannur, Kerala, April 2 onwards. The flag carrier of India will be operating five flights a week between Delhi and Kozhikode via Kannur.
The Indian airline will be deploying it’s A320neo aircraft on this Delhi-Kannur route

Air India’s subsidiary Air India Express was the first airline to start services from Kannur in December — the airline operates daily flights between Kannur and Abu Dhabi. Daily flights between Kannur and Sharjah are also functional. In addition to this, IndiGo and GoAir are other two domestic airlines flying to and from Kannur.
The launch of air services from Kannur since December 2018, is not only attracting travellers from northern side of Kerala but also neighboring states including Karnataka. According to a report in Mathrubhumi, around 79 international and domestic flights will be operational from Kannur by April 15.
