Warning: This post contains spoilers from the first episode of the Twilight Zone reboot, "The Comedian."

Easter egg hunters are in for a real treat with Jordan Peele's reboot of The Twilight Zone. We've already unearthed a dozen exciting in-references in the first two episodes -- which dropped today on CBS All Access -- and there's no doubt that more will come along as the new installments roll out on the streaming service.

One of the buzziest references to the original series so far is contained in the opening episode, "The Comedian," which features Kumail Nanjiani as Samir, a struggling nightclub comic who discovers he has the power to get laughs from the crowd if he's willing to make some drastic sacrifices in the process.

Twice while he's in the club's green room, a ventriloquist doll can be see in the background, and it's not just a wink to the classic Twilight Zone episode "The Dummy." The doll is Willie himself, the genuine article that creeped everyone out so well in the 1962 episode.

Speaking to Vanity Fair, Nanjiani revealed that famed magician David Copperfield now owns the iconic item, and he was happy to lend it to them -- free of charge -- in return for the new series including a reference to him. That's why, when Samir is having it out in the back room with the mysterious J.C. Wheeler (Tracy Morgan), he cries, "I wanted to make people laugh. I did not want to make them disappear! I wanted to be the next Chris Rock, not evil David Copperfield."

The Twilight Zone's first two episodes are now streaming on CBS All Access. New episodes will launch each Thursday starting April 11.
