Uttar Pradesh PCS Prelims 2018 result declared

NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, Prayagraj has released the results for the Provincial Civil Services (PCS) prelims examination on its official website.
The qualified candidates will now be called to appear for mains written exam.
As per the result data, released by the Commission, total 19,096 candidates have qualified for the UPPSC PCS main examination 2019. The UPSC has released the roll numbers of the candidates who have qualified for the main exam.
Out of 6,35,844 candidates, who had applied for the PCS examination, around 3,98,630 candidates appeared for the examination which was conducted on October 28, 2018. The UP PCS written test was of multiple choice objective type. The 200 marks preliminary exam had two compulsory objective type and multiple choice papers that candidates had to answer within 120 minutes.
