Kolkata school celebrates foundation day, felicitates students and staff

KOLKATA: Sunrise English Medium School recently celebrated its 45th foundation day with great zeal and enthusiasm recently. The school felicitated the prefects, captains, club workers and all the teachers for their tireless efforts throughout the year to enhance and empower the school administration. The day began with the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra. It was followed by a ceremony to honour school founder late Raghunath Prasad by the management members. School principal Sunita Srivastava in her address to the students and staff highlighted Prasad's hard work and efforts.

Sapphire House was declared the best house while Emerald House received the best board decoration award. It was a great achievement for the students who would, in future, learn to carry out their responsibilities and enhance their leadership qualities. The students and teachers were felicitated by co-founder of the school Parvati Devi Prasad.
