BMW Brings The 5 Series In 530i M Sport Package

The new BMW 530i M Sport is launched in India. Available in M Sport Package, the new BMW 530i is locally produced at BMW Group Plant Chennai and is now BS VI compliant.

The new BMW 530i M Sport comes with innovative technologies such as the BMW Display Key that allows drivers to keep in contact with their car round the clock. Hands do the talking with BMW Gesture Control, which recognizes six pre-defined hand movements for control of a number of functions. The smartphone holder integrated into the centre console allows inductive Wireless Charging for mobile phones and BMW Display key. Parking and maneuvering is made easier with the help of Parking Assistant along with the Surround View Cameras and Park Distance Control (PDC). With the Remote Control Parking function, a driver can maneuver the vehicle into a narrow parking space from outside using the BMW Display Key. There is contactless opening of the boot lid with a quick wave of the foot under the rear bumper.

The M Sport package brings out the sporty character and powerful presence through M Aerodynamics package, which comprises of front apron with larger air intakes, side skirt trim and a diffusor-style rear apron in metallic Dark Shadow. The tailpipes in Chrome High-Gloss add a dramatic touch of style, while the classically designed 18” M light-alloy wheels further emphasize its dynamic character. The sporty appearance is further rounded out by the characteristic’ M logo on the sides.

M Sport Package in the interior features leather Sport Seats and interior trim Aluminium Rhombicle with highlight trim finishers in Pearl Chrome. As an exclusive feature, the vehicle key is designed with M strip. The sporty appearance is apparent in the whole car, from the multifunction M leather steering wheel to illuminated M door sill finishers to the M Sport brake with blue calipers bearing the M logo. Ambient Lighting package with six dimmable designs creates an atmosphere for every mood.

The two-litre four cylinder petrol engine in the BMW 530i produces an output of 185 kW / 252 hp with a maximum torque of 350 Nm at 1,450 – 4,800 rpm. The car accelerates from 0 -100 km / hr in just 6.2 seconds.

The 8-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission performs smooth, almost imperceptible gear shifts. For even greater driving pleasure, it is available with steering wheel paddle shifters. The new BMW 530i M Sport comes with a Launch Control function as standard.

The range of fine upholstery combinations in the new BMW 530i M Sport has Leather Dakota as standard and includes Canberra Beige exclusive stitching/piping in contrast | Canberra Beige, and Cognac exclusive stitching /piping in contrast | Black.

The new BMW 530i M Sport is available in Alpine White (non-metallic) and in the following metallic paintworks: Black Sapphire, Mediterranean Blue and Bluestone Metallic.
