A six-year-old child died after Pakistani troops opened fire across the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district. The child was among other civilians who were caught in the ceasefire violation.

Apart from the child, nine other civilians were injured in the Pakistani ceasefire violation.
