Indore: Six vehicles were reportedly set on fire by unidentified persons in Hira Nagar area in the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday. Police have registered a case and started a search for the accused. The incident took place in Bajrang Nagar area. Krishnakant Mishra of Bajrang Nagar lodged a complaint that he woke up around 3.30 am after hearing noise outside the house. He came out when he saw burning vehicles and raised an alarm. The people of the area gathered there and they doused flames. Later, police were informed. Five two-wheelers and a car were damaged in the fire.
The complainant told the police that the bikes were possibly set on fire by anti-social elements. They fled before he woke up. The police are examining CCTVs installed around the spot and the exit points of the colony to trace the accused. A case against unidentified persons has been registered and the investigation is underway.
