‘Dil se dil talk’ touches heart of music lovers

Nagpur: Presented by Swar Sargam for the first time, ‘Dil se dil talk’ was a musical gala of melodious songs from the golden era of Bollywood. The programme was organized by Spruha Entertainment at Scientific Hall, Laxmi Nagar, on Sunday.
One of the winners of TOI Nagpur Heroes 2015, Narendra Jog, was the chief guest for the evening. He motivated the performers to put their best foot forward.

The event kicked off on an auspicious note with the soulful rendition of ‘Vakratunda mahakaya’ by a group of singers.

The choir group included the Chetan Elkunchwar, Vivek Sagdev, Milind Kalvit, Shubhlakshmi Pitle, Prachi Khadakkar, Rekha Joshi, Nitin Joshi, Shirish Deshpande, Prashant Mahajan, Madhuri Tayal, Sunil Mule, Aarti Killedar, Sonali Radke, Anushri Vijaykumar, Harish Kashyap and Vinay Deshpande.

Nitin Joshi delivered a soulful performance on ‘Mere dil mein aaj kya hai’, originally sung by the multi-faceted king of melody Kishore Kumar. The magic of the iconic singer Asha Bhonsale was recreated by Tayal when she presented ‘Yeh mera dil’.

The vivacious performances on songs like ‘Thandi hawa yeh chandni suhani’, ‘Mujhe kitna pyar hai tumse’, ‘Dil toh hai dil’, ‘Phoolon ke rang se’, ‘Zara si aahat hoti hai’, ‘Ek haseen sham ko dil mera’, ‘Pardesiyan yeh sach hain piya’, ‘Aye dil-e aawara chal’, ‘Sawaar loon’, ‘Haal kya hai dilon ka na pucho’, ‘Yeh raatein yeh mausam’ and ‘Pal pal dil ke paas’ won accolades from the jam-packed hall.


The duet performance by Killedar and Shirish on ‘Ude jab jab julfe teri’ gave a befitting conclusion to the musical bonanza.


The singers were accompanied by dynamic musicians including guitarist Gaurav Tansale, tabla and dholak player Ashok Tokalwar, violinist Amar Shende, Anand Maste on the keyboard and Akshay Harle on the octopod.


The event was conceptualized and directed by Vinay and Amit Harkare respectively. Seema Gogayan and Mamta Kulkarni were the hosts for the evening.
