Hyundai Venue Connected Features Revealed

India’s date with Hyundai Venue is set for the 17th of April 2019, when the Korean automaker will globally be unveiling the highly anticipated sub 4 meter SUV for its customers. Until then what we have just got to know and we will be telling you about is that Hyundai Venue will be offering advanced connectivity solutions called “Hyundai BlueLink”, it will offer features like Road Side Assistance, SOS (Save Our Souls), Vehicle Theft Tracking, Immobilizer, Speed Alert, Geo-Fence Alert, Panic Notification and share destination. Other functions onboard would include elements like climate control, engine start/stop, vehicle status, horn honk and light among others.

Speaking about Hyundai BlueLink, it is basically an in-built device that will be powered by Vodafone eSIM and is tamper proof. Hyundai claims that there will also be a Cloud-based Voice Recognition platform borrowed from Global AI Company. The job of this particular device would be to provide Real Time navigation and Live Local Search in collaboration with a global map company. The Voice Recognition system is specifically designed to denote any sort of English accent keeping customers in mind.

As far as safety goes, Hyundai Venue’s BlueLink will cater to Emergency Alerts, Medical & Panic Assistance, Automatic Crash Notification & Assistance, SOS Emergency Assistance and so on. The Venue will be powered by two petrol and one diesel engine. The petrol model will comprise of a new 1.0-litre 3 cylinder turbocharged unit producing 100bhp while the other 1.4-litre engine will be good for 99bhp. The diesel, on the other hand, will be a 1.4-litre oil mill churning out 89bhp. With a six-speed manual transmission as standard, Hyundai Venue could feature a dual-clutch automatic transmission on the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol variant.
