McDonald’s Australia \'McPickle Burger\' April Fools Joke Leaves Many In A Pickle!

An April Fools Prank may make some pickle lovers in Australia wished they checked their calendars.

On Instagram, McDonald’s Australia posted on its account introducing the McPickle Burger.

“Pickle lovers, it’s the news you’ve all been waiting for.” the caption read.

The video shows double burger buns with pickles stacked roughly to the size of McDonald’s beef patties.

Complete with ketchup and melted cheese, on their toasted sesame seed bun.

And many in the comment section believed it was real.

“I’m gonna order 1000.” one commenter said.

“omg its a burger designed for me” another comment said ecstatically.

“Can i get it with extra pickles?” one person may have asked jokingly.

And this person knew something was up “If this is April fools joke imma be mad.” Well, they were right.

McDonald’s replied to its own post saying “Available until yesterday.” Sending a shock wave of April Fools realization.

“Ahhh shiet it’s April 1st…” one person said defeated.

“Kinda rude that this was a prank coz i’d definitely devour this without question.” said another.

And one person was just not on board whatsoever, saying: “Even though this is fake it’s still disgusting.” And if you’re thinking the item might actually be on the menu in the future, McDonald’s Australia told news.com.au “We’re glad Australians have enjoyed our April Fools’ joke!” So looks like no dice.

But I think a better prank would’ve been saying their ice cream machines were actually working.??
