AIADMK functionary's house besieged
TNN | Apr 2, 2019, 04:44 ISTTirupur: A group of people laid a siege to an AIADMK functionary’s house at Udumalpet on Sunday claiming that he had cheated them by promising jobs in foreign countries.
A Madan Kumar of Udukkampalayam was running a private agency and he has received around Rs 4.5 lakh from more than 60 people each in guise of promising them to get jobs in foreign countries. But he has failed to get the jobs and did not return the money. Based on complaints given by them, cases have been registered against Madan, who has been absconding for many months. tnn
