A puppy in Italy is lucky to be alive after firefighters rescued it from a well.

On Twitter, Italy’s fire and rescue agency, Vigili del Fuoco, posted the video showing Firefighters using a long ladder to reach the bottom in order to rescue the stranded pup.

According to NBC news, the dog had fallen into the well after running away from its owner.

But thankfully, rescue crews were able to retrieve the dog shortly after entering the well.

Live Sicilia reports the owner gave the dog a big hug when they were reunited.

Looks like this dog might have a well-of-a-tale to tell its little doggy friends.
