Lakshmi Vilas Bank, Welspun Corp among top gainers on BSE
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 35 shares were trading in the green, while 15 were in the red.
NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 316.22 points up at 38,989.13 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Lakshmi Vilas Bank (up 10 per cent) and Welspun Corp (up 7.74 per cent) were trading 7-10 per cent higher at around the same time.
The Nifty 50 index was trading 77.30 points up at 11,701.20.
Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 37 shares were trading in the green, while 13 were in the red.
