He called upon voters to elect BJP-Sena candidate in Chandrapur, Hansraj Ahir, to ensure that Modi becomes PM once again.
Gadkari was addressing a public rally at Bhadrawati on Sunday afternoon. Taking a dig at Congress over its flip-flop in naming candidate for Chandrapur, he said, “The party put the name of one groom and married away the other one.”
He also claimed that Congress has done similar mix-up all over the country and it is good for their leader to sit at home after the blunder.
Gadkari was accompanied by party candidate Hansraj Ahir, MLA Nana Shamkule, district president Harish Sharma, former minister Sanjay Deotale, Vijay Raut and other leaders on the dais.
