Rao Jaswant Singh | TNN | Mar 31, 2019, 07:31 ISTGurgaon: All building plans and occupation certificates will only be approved online and the department of town and country planning (DTCP) will not take more than 60 days to issue occupation certificates, officials said. In a first such meeting held by director (DTCP), KM Pandurang, he directed the officials to dispose of building plans through the online mode only and also take steps for issuance of occupation certificates online.
“I have directed the officials that the issuing of occupation certificate should not take more than 60 days and the time limit must be followed strictly,” said Pandurang.
On March 2, TOI had reported about the DTCP planning to hold such meetings every month. DTCP has also directed the officials to organise training programmes for online building plans to make the public and architects aware of the process and resolve queries in case they face difficulties.
Mushrooming of unauthorised colonies in the city was also discussed at the meeting and the enforcement wing has been asked to take action against offenders. Revenue officers have been asked not to register plots in unauthorised colonies.
DTCP has said no registration shall be done without obtaining NOCs and even the matter of illegal colonies shall be taken on priority basis by working out the modalities at the task force meetings.
