The National Electric Cart Championship concluded organized at Rajeev Gandhi Technical University concluded on Friday.
More than 30 teams from all across the country participated in the four day long championship organized by Credible Future India and Cryptic Adventure Sports. The winners of different categories were given prizes of worth Rs 6 Lakh.
RGPV vice chancellor Sunil Kumar presided the conclusion ceremony while RR Karsoliya from TIT and Director, D-Auto Engineering, Vikas Kumar Pandey were also present as guest of honors. Mentor of Team Force Racing Prof CH Karunakar was felicitated with Dronacharya Award.
Team Hawks 5.3 of Yeshwantrao Chevan College of Engineering, Maharashtra was the overall champion while team Acro Streak of Acropolis College, Indore was overall runner-up of the championship. Team Acro Streak also won the award for best design.
The winner team for endurance category was again Team Hawks 5.3 and Team Chetak of Maharshtra was runner up of this category. Team Jayra R of Shree Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbtore was the winner of Drag Race category. Team Moon Riders 2.0 of JECRC College, Jaipur was the winner of Autocross category and also the Light Weight Award. The best Athletics award was given to Team Metadors and best driver was from Team Chetak.
