If the recent trailer release of Toy Story 4 has got you nostalgic for a good animated comedy, heat up the caramel popcorn for Missing Link, featuring the talented voices of Zach Galifianakis, Hugh Jackman and Zoe Saldana, among others. Following the journey of an explorer who sets out to prove the existence of a mythical creature, Mr Link, the movie promises to be a fun ride for kids and adults alike.

After Wonder Woman and Aquaman set the box office ablaze, DC Comics is looking to keep the momentum going with its newest superhero caper, Shazam!. Without any earth-shattering epic battles or ill-fated destinies on the line, the Zachary Levi-starrer instead offers a lighthearted take on everyone’s childhood dream to wake up as a superhero.

Adding some intrigue to the sizzling months of summer, John Abraham will be flexing his muscles again for the role of an undercover agent for the Indian intelligence agency against the canvas of the Indo-Pak war of 1971. Slated for an April 5 release, this patriotic tale of sacrifice also features small screen favourite, Mouni Roy, who was last seen in the 2018 blockbuster, Gold.

Netflix knows what you want. And what you want is more Noah Centineo. The internet’s favourite boyfriend is back, but this time with a twist. In The Perfect Date, Centineo is taking on the character of Brooks Rattigan, a high school student who comes up with a brilliant scheme to help pay off his upcoming college tuition. Coming on Netflix on April 12, the movies also stars Cami Mendes from Riverdale and former Disney star Laura Marano.

After weeks of piquing interest with powerful character posters, the trailer release of Karan Johar’s period saga has finally given us more to go on. Featuring a star-studded cast of industry heavyweights including Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Sonakshi Sinha, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt, the movie sets the perfect backdrop for a city ready to burn in the 1940s. Expect larger-than-life set pieces, scenic boat rides, vicious bull fights and that Kathak song everyone is talking about, ‘Ghar More Pardesiya’.

Avengers: Endgame (Releases April 24, 2019)

It’s been around seven years since the first instalment of the Avengers franchise held audiences spellbound. After three more successful segments, the makers are finally ready to tie up loose ends, but not without a fight. Touted as an ode to the martyrs of Infinity War, the dramatic conclusion has the remaining warriors taking a stand after the grave injustice of Thanos wiping out half the universe.
