The mother of a woman who died during a botched butt injection operation yelled in court at the fake nurse who performed the procedure.

Latesha Bynum died after bogus nurse Allison Spence administered a back-alley butt lift operation in 2017.

Spence, 46, pleaded guilty to manslaughter and acting as a nurse without a license at the Manhattan clinic that used a Dunkin' Donuts as a waiting room.

Bertie Bynum launched a tirade at Spence just before she was jailed for eight years at a Manhattan court on Thursday.

Bynum was wearing a T-shirt with a picture of her 31-year-old daughter in a coffin.

The mother branded the defendant 'not even human' and added, 'You see my shirt? What I have to deal with. This is the way I have to see my baby, in a casket!'

As she spoke, Spence looked down and did not turn to look at the victim's family, ABC 7 reports.

According to the New York Post, Bynum added: 'You knew you wasn't no nurse. You knew you didn't go to no medical school. What right did you have to shoot anything into my child?'

Her jail term of eight years will include the estimated 17 months she has already spent in jail since her arrest.

Bynum, from Harlem, attended Gramercy Park clinic for silicone buttock injections on July 15, 2017, and Spence administered one injection at about 1pm.

But she had a negative reaction to the silicone in the injection and when it entered her blood stream it blocked her arteries and killed her.

When Bynum began to feel ill and complained of dizziness, Spence put the mother-of-two into a shower, then gave her a ride home.

Hours later, Bynum called 911 from her home and told responders that she felt dizzy and had chest pains.

She fell into a coma and died in hospital two weeks later.

During sentencing on Thursday, Assistant District Attorney Harrison Schweiloch read a statement from an unidentified second victim who was permanently disfigured from the same procedure.

Co-defendant Kevin Richardson, the doctor who oversaw the running of the black-market clinic, already pleaded guilty to charges of second-degree manslaughter and three counts of unauthorized practice of a profession relating to the case.

Spence met Richardson's patients at a Dunkin' Donuts he used as a waiting room.

In exchange for accepting a plea deal, it is expected Richardson will be sentenced to four to 12 years behind bars.

She would then accompany them into the clinic, which was actually an apartment, for their buttock lift injections.
