IPL Highlights, DC vs KKR IPL Score: Prithvi Shaw, Kagiso Rabada Star As Delhi Capitals Win The First Super Over Of IPL 2019
IPL 2019, Delhi Capitals vs Kolkata Knight Riders Highlights: KKR made 185/8 in 20 overs while DC ended scoring 185/6 in 20 overs.

Delhi Capitals (DC) beat Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 3 runs in the super over in what was the first super over of IPL 2019. Chasing 186 runs to win, Delhi Capitals were off to a flier as Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw added 27 runs for the first wicket in 16 balls. Dhawan was dismissed for 16 off 8 balls by Piyush Chawla. It was then the 89-run partnership between Shaw and DC captain Shreyas Iyer who took the home side on course for a convincing win. However, Iyer was dismissed for 43 (off 32 balls) by Andre Russell. His innings included 4 fours and 2 sixes. Shaw was in a belligerent mood as he single-handedly took the attack to the opposition following Iyer's dismissal. But he missed his maiden IPL century by a run as he top-edged to be dismissed for 99. DC's middle-order batsmen failed to take the home side beyond the victory line as DC finished on 185/6 in 20 overs. The match was decided through a super over where DC scored 10/1. In reply, Kagiso Rabada bowled superbly to restrict KKR to 7/1. Earlier, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) scored 185/8 in 20 overs against Delhi Capitals (DC) after they were put to bat. (SCORECARD)
