Himachal Police Constable Recruitment 2019: Link to apply for 1063 vacancies activated

Screen grab of the official web page. NEW DELHI: the Director General of Police, Himachal Pradesh Police Headquarters, Shimla has activated the link to apply online for 1063 constable posts.
The application link will remain active from today, i.e., March 30, 2019 to April 30, 2019.
In a notification, dated March 3, 2019, the Himachal Pradesh Police has invited online applications from male and female candidates for the posts of constable.
The interested and eligible candidates can now apply online through the HP Police official website - recruitment.hppolice.gov.in - to submit the application. Candidates please note that the Important Links related to this recruitment are given at the end of this article.

The applicant should have passed class 10 or 12. Those appearing in class 10 and 12 are also eligible to apply for this post.
HP Police Constable Recruitment 2019: Application Fee
General category candidates need to submit an application fee of Rs 140 to apply for this post. Rs 35 for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/IRDP candidates.
HP Police Constable Recruitment 2019: Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on their performance in written test, personality test, and medical examination.
Written Test: Written examination will be held in the respective districts, preferably on the same day for all districts. Written examination will of 80 marks of objective type of 60 minutes duration. It will include questions on the English & Hindi languages, General Awareness, Maths & Science and Reasoning Aptitude. The written examination shall be of 10+2 standard except Mathematics for which standard shall be matriculation.
Personality Test: The Personality Test shall be consisting of 15 marks. Candidates will be called for PT from amongst those who have qualified in the ration of three person for each post. Before admitting a qualified candidate to the PT all necessary and relevant documents (in original) copies of which have been uploaded while submitting online application shall have to be produced by the candidates alongwith a set of photocopies.
