Congress observers hold review meeting in Maharashtra

A team of observers led by party (organisation) K C met leaders here Saturday, as the state unit is plagued by discontent and defections ahead of polls.

A senior who attended the meeting said asked state leaders to support state Ashok Chavan, and warned that will not tolerate any indiscipline.

A few senior state Congress leaders were asked to talk to Manikrao Gavit, who is fuming over the party's decision to give ticket to K C Padvi from Nandurbar and not to Gavit's son. was a nine-time from the seat.
