Six Baby Elephants Rescued From Mud Pit at Thai National Park

Six baby elephants became trapped in a mud pit at a national park in Thailand.????Rangers discovered the young animals, weighing several hundred pounds each, struggling to free themselves.????Park officials said it took five hours of digging to construct a slope for the elephants to be able to use to finally free themselves, according to the Associated Press.????While it’s not clear how the baby elephants became stuck…??...officials did note that there were signs that a herd of elephants believed to be related to the ones trapped were circling that area.????Thanks to the Thai rangers, all six of the elephants were freed.
