The City police will impose traffic regulations from 4 p.m. on Friday on account of a procession to be organised in connection with the 48th State conference of the Kerala Pulayar Maha Sabha (KPMS).
Motorists should avoid the Vellayambalam-Museum-RR Lamp-Palayam-VJT-Statue-Pulimoodu-Ayurveda College-OBTC-East Fort (MG Road) and Pattom-PMG-GV Raja-RR Lamp routes during the course of the rally.
Diversions
Vehicles through the NH will be diverted at the Ulloor junction to proceed along the Medical College-Kumarapuram-Kannammoola-Naalumukku-Pattoor-General Hospital-Asan Square-Underpass route. Those coming on the MC Road must divert from Pattom and go along Kuravankonam, Kowdiar, and Vazhuthacaud. Motorists headed for East Fort from Karamana should proceed along Killipalam and Attakulangara.
Vehicles from Nedumangad should divert from Peroorkada and proceed through Sasthamangalam, Edappazhinji, SMC and Vazhuthacaud. Motorists headed for Attingal, Kollam and Kottayam from Thampanoor should take the Bakery Junction-Panjappura-Underpass-Asan Square route.
Parking will be prohibited on various stretches.
