There was a soft opening of 25 rooms and a café earlier which is expected to be fully completed by November.

Taj Rishikesh Resort & Spa will be the company’s third in the state and will be located 30 kilometres from Rishikesh. It is spread across 12.5 acres of terraced gardens on the bank of the river Ganges.
The rooms will provide panoramic views of the river, white sandy beach and the mountains.
It is located 30 kilometres from a sacred confluence, Devprayag, here the two holy rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi combine and form the mouth of the Ganges.
Puneet Chhatwal, managing director and chief executive officer, IHCL, said that the idyllic setting and unrestricted views of the Himalayas, the resort is ideally positioned to tap into the growing potential of the wellness and spiritual tourism market.
