FALL RIVER - On March 31, the 4th Sunday in Lent, at United Methodist Church, 600 Highland Ave., Rev. Peter will continue preparing us for Easter. He will use the scripture in 2 Corinthians 5: 16-21 and the title of the sermon is “Be Reconciled to God”. The following scriptures will be read by the Liturgist: Luke 15: 1-3 and 11-32, Psalm32, and Joshua 5 9-11

Worship service is followed by light refreshments, free to all in the social hall.

Large print Bibles available on request.  Sunday School meets during our regular services and all children are welcome.

Youth Group is under the leadership of Justin and Amanda Sousa for grades 5, 6, and 7. Join us this Sunday, March 24 as we help prepare for Easter Activities while learning about Easter.

The choir practice is each Thursday at 6:30 p.m. and 9 a.m. Sunday before service.

The nursery is open for parents who need to use it during the service. It is not supervised by the church. Any questions or concerns, call the church at 508-676-3091, before 1 p.m. or leave a message.

On Monday evenings at 6:30 the prayer group “Sweet Hour of Prayer” meets and all are welcome.

The church continues to support the Fall River Food Pantry and Veterans.  Our Veterans have a strong need for toiletry items and the food pantry could use canned goods and socks.

The Lenten Bible study will meet at the the church at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, April 12.
