Addressing a public meet at STBC grounds in Kurnool, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said: "There are two words in English, sun and son." He equated BIP government with the Sun and TDP government with son and said, "If the sun has to rise, the other son must set," implying TDP must be defeated in the State and replaced with the BJP government. He later added that if BJP was voted to power in the State at the centre, the development of the State would happen twice as fast. "Development would happen with a double engine," he said.
