Bernes Donation

I think this Twitter user sums it up better than I can.

It’s the rumour that just won’t go away.

Nabil Fekir’s agent has reportedly donated to Liverpool sporting director Michael Edwards’ Just Giving page.

Jordan Henderson has also donated £5,000

Werner Boost

Kicker reckon Bayern Munich have no concrete interest in Timo Werner at this time.

Munich are said to require a winger as well as a playmaker with the futures of Thomas Muller and James Rodriguez uncertain.

This could be a boost to Liverpool’s chances of landing Werner in the summer should Jurgen Klopp sanction a transfer.

Committed Sadio

Sadio Mane’s level of commitment to football goes as far as not using a PlayStation.

He also claims to have never been to a party!

Sadio, you’re missing out!

”I never liked it, I never played the PlayStation,” he told WiwSport.

“I think it is something that’s wasting your time. I do not want to lose [my time] for anything in the world.

”I have never been to a party myself. It never went through my head.

“If I do not give everything I have to be a good player, I’ll never make it.”

Hudson-Odoi Latest

Callum Hudson-Odoi has featured prominently on these pages this week and he’s back again today. A Friday treat!

German outlet Kicker claim Liverpool have been in touch with Hudson-Odoi’s agent to discuss a potential move from Chelsea.

The 18-year-old is reportedly valued at almost £50m by the Londoners while some reports suggest Maurizio Sarri will offer the starlet an £80,000-per-week deal to keep him at the club.

Bayern Munich and Manchester United are also said to be interested.

Lovren Price Tag

Football Insider reckon Liverpool will slap a £30m price-tag on Dejan Lovren’s forehead this summer.

The Croatian defender has been linked with a move to Serie A this week with Napoli, AC Milan and Roma all credited in holding an interest.

Lovren joined Liverpool for £23m in 2014 with the Reds looking to make a profit on the 29-year-old.

It is suggested Norwich defender Ben Godfrey, who was rumoured with a switch earlier in the week, is on Michael Edwards’ list of replacements.

Rabiot Latest

AS claim PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot has agreed a deal with Real Madrid.

The 23-year-old is out of contract at the end of this season and has been banished from Thomas Tuchel’s first-team since December.

Liverpool have been credited with an interest but AS now believe returning boss Zinedine Zidane has moved to land the talented playmaker.

Bizarrely, Rabiot was given given support by president of the National Union of Professional Footballers of France [UNFP] this week after being blocked from training.

”PSG does what it wants with its player,” Philippe Piat said. “Things continue to get worse because he did not want to renew with the club.

“What Rabiot wants to reach the end of his contract, so respect him, and then go play elsewhere. What is here of condemnable?

“Everything is made to discredit him. That is why Rabiot has gone to the UNFP, so that we defend him from the different attacks, which is the goal of the club.

“If the player requests it, we will file two lawsuits: one before the courts against PSG for not respecting the provisions of his contract, and another against Antero Henrique, the sports director, for moral harassment.”
