Matthew McConaughey and Zac Efron premiere stoner comedy\, \'The Beach Bum\'

Actors Matthew McConaughey, Zac Efron and rapper Snoop Dogg turned out for the premiere of their stoner comedy, "The Beach Bum," in Los Angeles on Thursday (March 28).

The stoner dramedy, which debuted at the SXSW Festival earlier in the month, follows the misadventures of Moondog, played by Matthew McConaughey, a pot smoking rebellious rogue who always lives life by his own rules.

The film's ensemble cast also boasts Zac Efron, Isla Fisher and singer Jimmy Buffett.

Stefania LaVie Owen also stars as Moondog's long suffering daughter.

"The Beach Bum" is in theaters now.
