Knee fears for luckless Lynden Dunn

The playing future of Collingwood defender Lynden Dunn will be shaped by the results of scans after the veteran hurt his knee in a VFL practice match late on Thursday.

Dunn, who was playing his first competitive game since tearing the ACL in his left knee mid-last year, is believed to have injured the same knee against Richmond at Punt Road.

The Magpies said Dunn had hurt the knee but they could not confirm the extent of the damage as yet.

If Dunn has ruptured the ACL again, it would be a terrible blow for the former Demon who has never played in a final and cruelly missed Collingwood’s finals run in 2018.

Dunn is part of Collingwood's leadership group.
