Driver posts obscene clips of minor online

Picture used for representational purpose onlyPUNE: The Bhosari MIDC police on Tuesday registered an offence against a 22-year-old cab driver for sexually harassing a minor girl for the past two years and uploading obscene clips on a video-sharing website.
The 16-year-old girl’s brother lodged an FIR with the police after he came across the clips on Tuesday. The cab driver has been booked under sections 354 and 506 of the Indian Penal, relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and Information and Technology Act..
An officer from the Bhosari MIDC police said the cab driver and the complainant stayed in the same locality in the Bhosari area. For the past two years, the suspect was stalking the complainant’s minor sister.
“He used to talk with the girl in an obscene language. When the girl’s mother objected, the suspect threatened her with dire consequences,” the officer said.
