Teen ‘kidnapped’ after scuffle
Avishek Kumar Dubey | TNN | Mar 28, 2019, 07:14 ISTGhaziabad: The 17-year-old son of a head constable, who has been posted as the driver of Ghaziabad SSP Upender Kumar, and his friend, have gone missing since Tuesday. Police have reportedly traced his whereabouts to Punjab and an FIR has been filed in the case.
According to police, Akshat Tomar, the son of head constable Pawanveer Singh, left home on Tuesday evening saying he was going to meet his friend Kunal. Akshat and Kunal are both students of Class XI in a Ghaziabad school.
“Akshat had received a call from Kunal,who said he had been held hostage by some people after a fight broke out between them. He left and hasn’t returned since,” Pawanveer said. Meanwhile, a six-month-old baby boy was allegedly kidnapped by a couple from his house in Raj Nagar on Monday. They allegedly abducted the baby when the parents were away at work.
