Three persons, including two children, were injured at an amusement park in Injambakkam, after two carriages on a rollercoaster collided with each other.

Pradeep of Thalambur accompanied his and his sister’s family to an amusement park in Injambakkam. A carriage carrying his nine-year-old son and 15-year-old niece lost control and crashed into another stationary carriage. In the impact, Richard, 20, and the two children were injured.

The injured were taken to a private hospital where the two children were treated as outpatients and the youth was admitted. Pradeep lodged a complaint with the Neelankarai police for alleged negligence on the part of the amusement park
