Modi may file nomination on Apr 26

Varanasi: Prime Minister and Varanasi MP Narendra Modi’s election office for the Lok Sabha polls will be established in a house close to his parliamentary constituency office in Ravindrapuri area of the city. Though name of the senior leader who will inaugurate Modi’s election office has yet not been finalised, it will start working 20 days before he files his nomination on April 26. As per the tentative schedule received by the local Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unit from the party high command, Modi is likely to reach the city on April 25 and will file his nomination the next morning. BJP Kashi regional unit president Mahesh Chandra Srivastava said: “A house near Acharya Ramchandra Shukla crossing in Ravindrapuri area has been finalised to set up Modi’s election office, which will start working from April 6, the first day of Chaitra Navratra.”
