NEW DELHI: On March 27 at around 11am, India launched an interceptor missile from the Balasore range in Odisha. Three minutes later, the missile hit and killed Microsat-R, a live satellite in a low earth orbit. With this India became the 4th country to acquire such a specialised & modern capability.
