Vadodara airport cleanest in India

Vadodara: Vadodara airport has topped in the country and bagged the Swachh Bharat award 2019 for the cleanest and safety airport in the category of airports having annual passenger handling capacity up to 1.5 million.

According to officials of Vadodara airport, the award will be conferred upon by Guruprasad Mohapatra, chairman of the Airports Authority of India (AAI).


Vadodara airport director Charan Singh will receive the award on the eve of the 24th annual day function scheduled to be held in New Delhi on March 31.


It is worth mentioning here that to avoid congestion at the airport premises, the airport will be implementing new parking policy with effect from April 5.


The officials are also trying to introduce other services and amenities for passengers so that the terminal building turns into one of the iconic places to visit.
