Ambala: Class X boy goes missing, case of kidnapping lodged

AMBALA: Police have registered a case of kidnapping after a Class X boy went missing under mysterious circumstances from his village Majra on Tuesday night.
The boy, identified as Devender, studies in a private school in Naraingarh. The father of the boy had sent him to market to bring milk and sweets on Tuesday after he passed Class IX with good marks but the boy did not return home the whole night.
“I have been searching my son since last night. I have also informed the district police. I do not have any enmity with anyone. I am a labourer and I am worried about the whereabouts of my son,” his father said
“We have registered a case under Section 365 (kidnapping or abducting with intent secretly and wrongfully to confine person) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) to start the investigation into this case. The family members have given us two mobile numbers and the teams have been rushed to the addresses related to these number. Our teams are actively working to verify all the details to find the missing boy,” Shahzadpur SHO inspector Narender said.
