'Make another suit'

The reaction to NASA's decision is unsurprising. We'll let Hillary Clinton's concise disbelief sum it up:

Wait. NASA did what?

NASA has cancelled the first all-women spacewalk scheduled for Friday because it doesn't have a small enough spacesuit to fit one of the female astronauts.

AAP reports: Anne McClain and Christina Koch had been due to step into history books during the final week of Women's History Month but NASA says McClain will now give up her place on the mission to her male colleague Nick Hague.

"McClain learned during her first spacewalk that a medium-size hard upper torso - essentially the shirt of the spacesuit - fits her best. Because only one medium-size torso can be made ready by Friday, March 29, Koch will wear it," NASA said.

Long delays for Hurstbridge commuters

Long delays on the Hurstbridge line at the moment after reports of a person hit by a train:

Wednesday night, date night

Date, meeting, who cares. We'll take any excuse to eat gyoza. Chotto Motto is Collingwood's newest phenomenon, serving up proper Japanese fare in the old Knife Shop Cafe in Wellington Street.

It's a retro space; fun and casual like its peers in Tokyo. Gyoza are served in a round of 10 or 20; there's fillings galore and an option of melted cheese (as if it's a choice). There's a vending machine for beer and a monthly soft-serve flavour (currently miso caramel).

Open from 3pm, we reckon you can squeeze in a late meeting and an early date and still make it home in time for MAFS.

Cold morning, sunny day

Exactly 12 degrees in the city now ahead of a sunny top of 21. It's one of those glorious days that just keeps getting better. Here's how it will unravel:

Recycling at its best or hipster nonsense?

Over at our Facebook page, they're split on a shipping container hotel proposed for Footscray.

Tracey Lieschke is for it: "I like it, recycling at its best". Others aren't so keen.

"Don't you designers and developers watch Grand Designs? Every shipping container anything that has been built has massive cost blowouts and looks as ugly as," says Baron Von Snooty.

Kelly Soli is more concise: "Hipster nonsense".

Melbourne man wins Oz Lotto ... twice

In case you missed it earlier, a Melbourne man has claimed almost $47 million after wining two of three first-division prizes in last night's $70 million Oz Lotto prize.

The registered player from St Albans told officials he'd forgotten he had two entries in the draw, each with the same numbers he'd used for 30 years. The other winning ticket was sold in Tasmania.

Lotto spokeswoman Bronwyn Spencer said the man "was just over the moon". He said he'd probably share the money with his family and buy a new home.

Appeal to scoop 'Mr Front Page' archive

Imagine a news photographer in 2019 snapping a picture of the prime minister in bed. Forget for a second that our current selfie-loving PM is probably more likely to do it himself. In the pre-Instagram era of 1980, Age photographer Bruce Postle took one of his most celebrated pictures as Malcolm Fraser woke to election victory at Melbourne's Windsor Hotel.

It's one of thousands of items being eyed off by the State Library of Victoria. The library needs to raise $75,000 to acquire the collection. Read more and donate here.
