Gadchiroli head constable injures self
Soumitra Bose | TNN | Mar 28, 2019, 04:19 ISTNagpur: Head constable Patiram Darro (48) was injured after sustaining a bullet injury in the stomach at Korchi police station in north Gadchiroli on Wednesday. It’s yet to be confirmed if the self-loading rifle went off accidentally.
Darro, who was absent from work since March 21, had come to the police station earlier in the day. He was rushed to the primary health centre at Korchi. Darro was later shifted to Kurkheda from where the doctors shifted him to Nagpur in a 108 ambulance. Sources from Gadchiroli police said Darro’s condition was stable but he is under observation.
